Here is another card featuring my team of ducks, this time having fun on ice rather than flying on the end of balloons. I have seen wild ducks doing this in real life on a frozen canal in the middle of winter – Khaki Campbells would do the same, given half the chance!
A fun fact about campbells, from my experience…if the ducks spend a lot of their time in the sun, their feathers fade into a yellow-brown, which is shown in the card ‘Ducks and Balloons’, which I painted near the end of summer. This card has the same ducks, but with darker feathers, in the winter, after they had ‘changed’ their feathers in the autumn moult.
The card is 15 by 10.5 cm (6 by 4.2 inch) and is blank inside.
